Went up to the NEC for this on Saturday, Classic car show on at the same time. Pretty disappointed that the MPH part was only in 1 hall where as the Classic Car Show was across 4. Lots of nice cars as you'd expect although I got more excited about some of the Classics than I did with some of the supercars. Bumped in to Gary (shooter) lurking around the trade stands. The Live show part of MPH was pretty good with some great precision driving from Russ Swift and team in some RS Fiestas. Jeremy Clarkson and James May were presenting with Tiff Needel standing in for Richard Hammond. The show was OK but the script was cheesey and predictable with several things repeating from last years show I was told. If it wasn't for the Classic Car show on at the same time it would have been a waste of money but as it was, it was OK. Favourite car was the Shelby GT 500 (or Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds fame) closely followed by the Zonda F. Here are a couple of pics for you with the rest here: - http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l89/beanpotter/MPH06/

Beanpotter, good to see you there :) I agree it wasn't as good as hoped but there were some great cars. Also made a couple of useful contacts ;)

I'll post my pics up later, as need to resize them (100+)

That Allegro was well tasty - didn't think there were any of those high performance BL motors left

Got a bit of a result at the mph show.

Took my dad to see the classic car show and brought an upgrate ticket to see the live mph show but when we went to get in they told us the tickets we had were no good and we would have to exchange them at the office.

Looking at the que to the office (at a guess 200 people) I decided to complain to someone who looked in charge, she took my tickets straight to the office and found out the show I had booked for was sold out so upgraded us to VIP with access to the EVO enclosure and free drinks!!
