Hello everyone, it's been a while! I have been out of the scene for just over a year but am planning to make a bounce back. By the way, it's hot as ____ in Arizona! Hope you all enjoy my new Nismo 350Z! I'll get more pictures and updates as time progresses, but as of right now it is all stock.

Very nice mate, I've always had a soft spot for the 350z.

Steering wheel is on the wrong side though ;)

Bry, nice work buddy :) - must be rather pedestrian compared to the silver single monster :).

Think the throttle response on this would be a bit better though :)

Nice to hear from you Bryan......looks like lousy weather you're having over there! It will be interesting to hear how you develop this, if you decided to start tuning it up.

Thanks guys! I have quite the build "wish list" going now. This car is more commonly known in Japan as the Nismo Z380RS. It really has a good base to start with track wise. It has most of the suspension upgrades from Nismo including, f&r strut bars, radiator support strengtheners, Nismo S-tune shocks and springs, f&r dampeners, Nismo power frame, etc.! It also came with the full Brembo setup, Nismo short throw shifter and the dual Nismo intake for the VQ35DE. It is number 1390 out of 1607 made worldwide! I'll be sure to keep everyone posted on my progress.

Well fellas, it's been a while to say the least! I'll start with a personal update for those that care. When I moved back to the states back in 2010, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I fought the Air Force for almost 2 years and they finally decided that I was medically unfit for duty. Meaning that I was medically retired July of this year. Immediately following my retirement, I was offered a job as an Aerospace Engineer on the F-35 for Lockheed Martin. To say that everything worked out is an understatement. I love my job and hey, I'm in California. The car scene is nice, the women are beautiful, and the beach is an hour away, I'm set. I even work with a few British friendlies! Enough with the boring stuff, I know. I do have a few updates for the car, although sadly, no TT setup just yet. Some of you that know me, know that I have a soft spot for appearances. So, saying that, I've tried to mix in both performance and looks into the start of my Z project.

First mods that had to be done with any n/a motor; HKS Hi-power true dual exhaust and the Nismo CAI twin intake.

Also upgraded the brakes to StopTech drilled and slotted rotors F&R and stayed with the Nismo R-Tune pads and Brembo calipers.
I'm currently waiting on my Volk CE28N Formula Silver Edition wheels from Japan. I went with 19X10.5 ET22 (R) and 19X9.5 ET22 (F) running on Nitto NT555 tires. (pics to come)

Now for the look good stuff!
I wanted to lighten it up a bit, so I went with the Seibon OEM style hood and roof combination and also added a carbon fiber roof spoiler, carbon fiber mirror covers, Nismo carbon fiber B pillars, and of course all of the carbon fiber interior pieces, plus clear front reflectors and headlight eyebrows to stay with the agressive look (strictly cosmetic, I know)
Also, I wanted all of the emblems, badges, and door handles to match the lower valances of the Nismo V3 kit

This is the result (more pictures to come)

Thanks for taking the time, I'll talk to y'all soon!

I love the parts you have ordered mate, real JDM goodness. The only thing I'm not swayed with is the carbon roof and bonnet but if you like it then thats all that matters.

Certainly sounds like you are doing well though mate and certainly enjoying the women there from your FB pages ;)

By the way, can you buy a Nismo 350Z in the US then or is it an import or a US one with JDM imported bits ?
