I'm sure some of you will have seen this, but for those that have not

Some purists are upset that the engine has been changed and, in their eyes, a 288 GTO has been destroyed. I think they need to grow a set :)

8.8 litre with two turbos producing between two and two and a half thousand brake horse power. Rather a lot of boost too.

Just in case :D

Absolutely staggering. I think thats an absolutely amazing feat and serious testament to the engine build and mapping. Its all very well building a 2500bhp motor and dragging it etc.
In a drag situation it will see full throttle for no more than 7-8seconds. This thing is on that absolute limit and foot flat on the gas for over 5 miles!!!

Staggering build. Well impressed! :)
