Hi,

Just thought i'd do a big post on recent video uploads and I also know that a few on here have considered MX5 racing in the past. The videos are generally all using the VIDEO4 system from Race-Technology mated to their DL1 data-logger. Most are 4 camera videos showing action to the front, rear, pedalcam and drivercam.

I have a driver who is doing the entire UK series (Ma5da MX5 Championship) and using the same kit so will be lots of videos posted over the coming months.

I'll start with one with me driving, I had a last minute offer to do the race at Rockingham, UK. Rockingham is unbelievably slippy in the wet at the best of times but they'd just had a bunch of test days before and the surface was like vinyl flooring.

Now some of Fahad Hizam (Meezer Racing) who hails from Saudi Arabia where he has raced single-seaters and V8s. Racing on UK circuits is a big step for Fahad as he has only raced on modern circuits before, Bahrain and Dubai.

Here he is at Oulton Park, one of the trickiest circuits in the UK.

Oh, and talking of the Lotus Elise, here is the same car the day before with me next to one of my clients as our brakes fail at 110mph going into the notorious Paddock-Hill Bend. Yes, another crash video.
