We have a collection of rather pleasant cars at Snetterton today, one of which is this below:

Taken just before lunch, and my goodness does it shift. Now the circuit is drying out from the downpour today its unreal the turn of speed this thing has.

Will add some more pics later when i have time to convert them from .tif files.

"RUF CTR 3 in Russell" (Slightly similar shape to the Carrera GT but near a million euro's worth)

Image

There are many original RUF Porsches, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Stealths, Aston's & a lovely Group C Porsche Gulf 962 replica with an 09 Nascar lump in it. :D

Got to love RMA Paddock Club trackdays!!

Im afraid it isn't a Carrera GT ....;)

""The CTR3 was released 20 years after the original Ruf CTR, on April 11, 2007 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain where Ruf's new factory is located. Continuing the Ruf tradition of modifying Porsche automobiles, the CTR3 uses an engine built by Porsche.

For the first time, however, it features an Ruf designed body Built out of steel, aluminum, and kevlar-carbon, the car altogether weighs 1,375 kg (3,050 lb).

The engine of the CTR3 is a Porsche derived 3.8 L flat-6 paired with twin KKK turbochargers; this means the CTR3 produces 515 kW, or 691 hp at 7,000 rpm, and has a maximum torque of 890 N

Not trying to prove anyone wrong, thats what your trying to do with me for what purpose i don't know, all i'm trying to do is clarify facts. There are some people on here that would be interested to know the facts.

It uses a Porsche engine yes as a base, tuned afterwards by RUF, but "for the first time ever a ruff designed body/chasis/drivetrain" and so forth, therefore not a Carerra GT, may look slightly similar but was solely built and designed by the guys at RUF as their own Supercar, rather than another 911 tuned vehicle.
