The whirring you can hear at the bottom of paddock hill bend is the rear nearside tyre rubbing the arch. We were monitoring it all day and it wasnt causing any issues wear wise.

Very nice...
I like the lines.. (would be the same lines i'd take! :-D )
Most stick to the oustide of the track down the pit straight.
But you and I both hug the wall and then brake in a straight line to bring you to the outer edge of paddock bend, ready to turn in for the apex...

thanks Mike

yeah - it works well and means you can brake later cos you are going straight uphill.

Jase - It had been 20 years since I had driven there and really at the time it didnt feel that special (in an MG Metro and MG Maestro) but now i just adored it. What sort of times were you doing around there?

thanks Ben.

Yes, drove up to Derby and back in rush hour in it recently, Wellingborough and general road duties still. I've done 700 miles on the new engine now (including track stuff)

Nothing has changed to affect the road worthiness. In fact very few changes since Feb when the brakes were changed.
