Snetterton Lotus Festival (big pics)

Post by RPS13 »

I had a great time at the Lotus festival last sunday and I got to play with my new camera too so figured I should start making more of a contribution to the forum with a few of my photos. (maybe it will make up for not updating my project threads in far too long)

I will let the pictures do the talking:

Brilliant! Must be a pinhole camera to get so much depth

Looking at the name he has given the path in photobucket it looks like its a Canon 40D. 10 megapixel camera which is superb. Be interested to know what lens you have though mate.

Thanks Everyone, I have over 1000 form the event but havent looked through them all yet. I just picked a few that caught my eye. I will pus some more up if anyone wants when i get a chance to look through the rest.

Yes it is a Canon 40D,and I used 2 lenses. There was an old 75-300 USM F5.6 that I had from my Eos33 film camera that i used for most pictures, and also a 17-85 F4-5.6 that i bought with the camera. I used that for the 3 taken on track during the parade lap (something like 450cars on track at once!)

The 75-300 is not a special lens at all. A freind was there with proper media pass to get closer to the action and his shots showed the difference of a full frame sensor and a Cannon L series lens.
