there 1220kgs as standard jason
its hesitating on boost at the moment and think this is something to do with the rpm signal , the rpm needle stops and then jumps around ,but when it comes back to life the boost is a lot better,
car is not road legal at the moment so i cant have a play

Nice looking car Trev

Is that PTS in Luton? I had problems on their rollers but the other way :? .

I got 100/100 less going from 2.0 with VF23 to 2.5 with 05/06 20g

On that basis, you should be in the 600s :o

Trev,
I recognise this car too from Gti-r circles. Very nice.
Hope you get it sorted.
PTS do not have the best of reputations i am affraid. I know of 2 Pulsars they have blow up. One was my old one. The new only went in for new plugs, a check over an a rolling road run. They adjusted the ignition timing wrong and it went bang.

just been out to the car and its all beyond me and nothing like my other pulsar under the bonnet like dizzy is not there no maf etc.. running a dta ecu, someones going to have fun trying to set this up
the rpm is wierd , you start it up and theres nothing showing on rev counter on clocks nothing on the apexi rpm/speed meter and nothing on the apexi avcr when its cold, then after a while revo counter goes crazy blipping about all over the place then settles to correct rpm, then the revs on the rpm/speed meter come on and are normal, then a few minuits later the avcr kicks in with random numbers then that also finds itself  its all wierd boost reading show right on everything

trying to find out what the turbo actually is aswell, there is stacks of paperwork, first it had an md205 from td then this died apparently so a larger one went on (so im told) but only paperwork says its a t28 hybrid roller bearing , so no idea

i really should not have bought this but could not help myself, colours very different and been properly done by the looks of it including the engine bay and everywhere.

and yes dave the gearbox will be a problem as its standard plus running an ap paddle clutch, there plenty of paperwork showing box repairs etc..
in fact the box is stuffed at the moment , its all ok but wont hold 5th for very long and jumps out unless you hold it there, i dont suppose its anything simple like linkage

im in two minds what to do with the car , either use it and turn the boost down a bit and get it mapped properly etc.. and sell my black one or transplant a few of the goodies onto my black one and sell whats left
im even tempted to run 17's now as there is a nice set of 325mm brembos on there and oz rims with toyos

decisions decisions
