Epynt Hillclimb: In-car Videos!!

Post by AdamP »

Managed to get some video footage of the main runs on Sunday. Was an excellent day, the rain and storms cleared up and we got 4 good runs each! I managed 92, 87, 83 and 83, my dad managed 91, 88, 87 and 88, so I'm currently ahead in the 'Phelps hillclimb championship'. ;D Still a long way off the Zen Impreza that set the hill record of 57.83 with Robert Harriman behind the wheel.

John, 87sec run.

Adam, 83sec run.

Adam, 83 sec run number 2.

Sorry about the extinguisher stick reflection in the screen!

EDIT: This was in the 205 Roland Garros btw :-D

How often do they run this event Adam? Looks pretty good.

They've run it twice so far, one in June 2007 and now in June 2008. I'm not sure whether they're going to keep it as an annual event or open it up more often. It's all on military roads so they're a bit limited.

Long way from me but looks good. Shame if it's only once per year,
