That gearbox whine is scary
Quick car but I was amazed that the opponents were so 'generous' with their lines and corner positions. Made it very easy work for him or her.
Nice vid though. Can I have a sequential please Gary

The only drivers to give him a slightly hard time were the Marcos drivers and even then he seemed to get a bit ratty at them as if to say 'get out of my way, you have no right to be there!!'.
I thought it was a race :?
His car was clearly the very quickest there and it seemed a bit unfair that it was all very easy for him to slice through oponents like hot knife through butter. Agreed they mostly got out of his way. I lprefer a good close tussle
+2 on the gearbox....talk about defeaning!!

Yes, that is a superquick BM.
I think he must have been further back on the grid than he should have been for some reason by the way he knew he was going to be much quicker away than those in front.
Awesome car and driving.

Its an ex Gianni Morbidelli Italian Touring car from BMW Motorsport
God knows why its so much faster than those other cars, I can only assume its the gearing, as this is round the short circuit at Assen which I have driven and still had lots of room for a couple of different lines.
He sure knows his car more than most the other drivers and is not afraid to put his nose in where perhaps a higher calibre of opponent might chop it off. Some of the comments on you tube are funny about how discourteous he is - its a race, kill or be killed and he doesnt tap anyone or cause an accident so I cant see the problem, he's just more selfish and dertermined than those around him, surely the defining characteristics of a racing driver !!!
Nice video,
Thanks,
James.

Great vid. Very unusual speed differential, even though the field is strung out enough to be lapping backmarkers within 5mins or so. Even the last few places before taking the lead were taken with relative ease - the driver had more of everything, not just gearing, looking like he found himself on a rookie grid by mistake!

I initially thought it must be a set up - it did seem too easy .. but he was certainly motoring .. the sound of the box though would do my head in.

ah man, now that's a serious motor. bit scary to start with dodging in and out or the first thirty cars
