I just put my comments on there being a member already. I think it shows a certain stereotype of performace supercar driver when he comments 'brainless Impreza driver'. The comment should have read 'brainless driver in an Impreza'.
Looking at the state of his car however i wonder just how legal his speed was at the time. He came a heck of a lot worse off than the Impreza driver which just makes me wonder if the porsche driver could also potentially be deemed 'brainless' as i bet he wasn't sticking to the legal speed limit either.
I could say 'typical f**cking porsche driver' but that's tarring them all with the same brush isn't it. Some people eh!! :-k

Am tempted to suggest he gets a hot Impreza since the visibility and all-round ability on a b-road is so much better than that of super-low German/Italian exotica. Not like me to be mischievous like that however...
Agree with Dunc and Francis' suspicions on speed; drive like that on a bike and you'd be a statistic in no time.
The ultimate losers are those who have to insure an Impreza, a year or two down the line
Doubt he was going much quicker than 40 to be honest.
If the accident was from the junction opposite where the Scooby landed then the Porsche has only gone about 100feet with no brakes on grass and bushes, so hardly the sort of distance real speed would have led to.
Cant see what the fuss is about "Brainless Imprezza driver" as its just a use of words, and to be totally honest Scoobs have become such a victim of their own competence that they are like the new XR3i where every chav has one as they are seen as the fastest thing around for no money. Skylines are heading that way thanks to a million and one importers convincing people that GTS's are just as good as GTR's for a fraction of the cost and even Evo's are old enough now that 6 & 7's are getting sub 10k chavspec boy racer money. Loads of our favourite cars are now in plentiful supply, at a price that is within reach of the braindead and have performance to make you weep when you see it unleashed in congested rush hour traffic - which I do everyday for about 5hours !!!
Interesting set of problmes he has - exactly as I have been considering except that I have decided against splashing all my cash if iit ever arrives and will be doing other things instead - like joining the P1 club for a start !!!

I have issues !!! ....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!
The issue shouldn't be the car...just the driver. I pointed that out to the driver of the Porsche and he agreed!!
The chap driving the Impreza could have been driving a Nissan Micra, Audi A4. SAAB, Bimmer....whatever.... so saying 'Brainless Impreza Driver' implies Impreza drivers are brainless. Not the case...it's the driver that's Brainless, and i still hold up that even though the Porsche driver came off worse and the claim went in his favour, it's doubtful he was sticking to the speed limit. He even admitted that he wasn't sure what speed he was doing!! Who's brainless now!!
Also....this chav image of impreza drivers is a bit old and staid now, it has been well and truly wrung out. 'Chavs' can go out buy anything they like whether it be a VW to an Audi, camper van or SUV. All this stereotyping of Impreza's and their 'chav' image is just that....Stereotyping and nothing more with no basis or foundation as fact.
The majority of Impreza drivers i know are in fact sensible drivers and decent individuals with similar values as you or i with respect to public roads and prefer to get their motoring kicks in safety.
