We arrived and got the complimentary bus from the car park........the weather was cold and grey, Chris was bloody freezing! Got into the complex bumped into Lloyd@JRD who very nearly ballsed over  Shiny shoes and shiny floor near sent the poor fella flying. Luckily he was unscathed, we all had a giggle at a near miss and made our way into the show.
One of the first cars that caught my eye was a bright orange TVR with an inch thick fibreglass front splitter. HARDCORE

Please excuse the quality of the photos. The bright lights and crappy phone does nothing to help my poor skills.
Next up was the joint Time Attack and EDC stand. As soon as I saw the banners for the stand I made my way straight over. Andy Barnes was manning the stand which displayed Brett Castles new spec S15 and Whifbitz's new RX7, which was stunning.

Wide arches

Flared door bars ala Nascar....a great idea (Thanks Rob :thumb: )

Also on the stand were three fine examples of Anglias finest

It was great to see some friendly faces and the guys and I had a quick natter before we made our way around the show. I think we all agreed we should have a badge made up for 'Garage Owner' or something similar for those of us enjoying rather drawn out builds

The show seemed a little smaller than last year, but perhaps that was becuase I got split up from the APT Guys and wandered around in circles for about 40 minutes! Not all bad though as I got to see some great cars and pretty good chassis work too

GT35r S2000 460bhp!!

No comments about bonnets on the last pic please

More assorted pictures of automotive grot. This splitter was not made of plywood

Tein had this mighty Impreza on their stand

Great cage

New shape Impreza

Touring car Astra

Couldn't make out the car in this one, sorry

Belgium touring car refugees. The Peugeout was a bit wierd but, I thought, looked great. Would certainly be fun to take that out on a circuit

No idea who made these wheels but guys........please appreciate the dish!!

The Zonda is one of the rare cars that I never tire of poring over. Simply superb in the details, although Chris didn't like the roof!

Caterham were there displaying their latest model, the Levante. It's supercharged and one their staff told me that it should be able to bust the 6 minute mark at the Ring

Mitsubishi probably had the largest manufacturers presence at the show with a very glamorous stand.

The underside of this EVO gave a few important hints

Carbon floor sections and an alloy engine underbelly were just a couple of nice touches. Race cat too which surprised me....lovely welding!
A lovely M3 on Rays wheels

Bladeys current favourite car.........I'm sure many of us watched this on Mr Clarksons supercar DVD this Christmas

A couple of products caught my eye. Carbon rimmage from Dymag. 19x12" weighs less than 9kgs and still uses alloy spokes!

A seat capable of fitting just about anybody, Bladey, BigFil and myself included. Chris looks a bit lost in there!

A real legendary pair of drivers used this old Vauxhall. The car was displayed amongst the historic Touring cars and stole the show from the others, in my opinion.

The VDO Skyline was there, showing off an enviable engine position. I think it's a V8 tucked back there

Lastly, photowise, one of the most gorgeous cars ever created. The attention to detail was stunning. Nearly sold all of my organs for the right to walk away with this...........

Had a great natter on the day to Zak from Mocom, caught up with the Pornmeister Frayz and had another lenghty chat with Andy Barnes......broke his hand again (must stop doing that) and also caught up with Maz from EDC commentary fame. Last but not least I met Rob (RPS13) very much in work mode. He kindly introduced me to some of his contacts and they may come of benefit to everyone in the club. More to follow

Thanks again to Gary for the invite. Hope the show and its contacts prove beneficial to you :thumb:
