Ultimate Ford show - Donnington

This was to be our last static car show of the year. We had been asked by the club if they could have our car on a stand as they wanted to do a Tuning Feature for the show. We drove the janspeed down to donny yesterday evening with Bart following in his GT as we had to lay out the stand. When we got there we found out that they also wanted us to do a talk to the public about tuning of XR's 
We were not aware that ours was going to be the only car on this stand.......This basically meant that we had to provide all the props and dressing for the stand, so on the drive back ideas were exchanged and a list was drawn up.
We were amazed at the public interest in the car with people wanting to know all about the engine and mods that we had, stating that they had seen it at Ford Fair or other shows but had not been able to speak to us before. On two occasions a couple of guys got their girlfriends to stand next to the car as they took pictures....
