Gary,Dan and I talked about this as reference for our cars performance. It is a mark of just how fast Mr Norris' car is when you consider that Dan or Garys cars, both insanely quick in the real world, could not get near the time. MIne? Mine wasn't even in the same performance envelope (May as well have used a sand timer)

I know the Norris car is rather spartan .. but how much HP/Torque does it have to be so amazingly quick - I thought it was in the 600's ...

Yes, if i remember correctly it was 850bhp on race gas and tips the scales at approx 1080kg.

You do the maths :D, something like 800bhp per ton???

Its the far away shot that gets me, you can actually see that thing accelerate to the point the guy with the camera has trouble panning to keep it in view...

Awesome :D

That was last years engine and spec, here's Simon's sig on the MLR

ND E9 SWB: Best 1/4: 9.26Sec @ 160.09Mph (At Santa Pod!)
Best Top Speed So Far: 201.42Mph
30 To 130Mph: 5.06 Secs
0-60Mph: 2.4 Seconds
0-100Mph: 4.3 Seconds
0-150Mph: 8.0 Seconds

Think the engine was running 928Bhp on the engine dyno!!! Seeing this car is believing, it's almost cartoon quick.

my god that is incredible !!! .. after riding in Gary's 500+ BHP Evo - I think the feeling of accelerating in a 900+ BHP car must earth shattering, maybe it's capable of timetravel.
