thats a really good video... there is one missing thought,
before roland ratzenberger ellio died in testing. i think in a lotus.

I loved f-1 as a kid but now i lacks a something that senna and prost mansell gave it. I dont mean death

The image of that driver trying to push that car over whilst on fire is so sad. It is a real moment of desperation and respect for another human. Something i think many forget in a superchaged world.

I remeber watching ratzenberger die whilst out to dinner with my parents at zaks and senna die a few days later. They were pivital moments in my life ( i didnt know them but you felt close to them as stars and idols )

Yes, very well put together and moving film, I too remember the senna crash - I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

The accident that get's me - the car hitting the guy running across the track with the extinguisher, which unfortunately hit the driver in the head.

It reminds you of the dangers that have been endured for the love of racing and the advancement in motoring technology.

anyone remember the marshall killed at the australian GP?

a wheel came off viellneuve's car and went through a hole in the marshalls post just big enough for a wheel!!

these guys do it for free too!!

i haven't looked at the vid but have seen it before.

i rememeber senna's funeral.

they had a load of R/C helicopters flying above as he loved his model choppers.

quite a thought provoking video as well as an homage to the bravest men on the planet :notworthy:

Who was the driver trying in vain to turn over the burning car - a real hero in my eyes :(

There 1 or 2 other drivers trying to help but that one really got to me, very sad :(
