a dream come true......
Are you sure those boys did not own a GTR?
Sorry bad joke in the circumstances!!
I am not kidding mate, owning a Skyline really is stressfull at times, they seem to drive your patience to the limit. It is like they are cursed or something at times.
What tyres are they, shocking what happened.

i was broken down again on the trowse junction of the southern bypass around that time.
one of the new tyres split on the inner wall like the one last night!!!
i also forgot to put the bloody jack in the car again :x
luckily for me ( not for the bloke in question ) someone else broke down 100 yds behind me and we borrowed his jack :-D
i now have the spacesaver on the LEFT wheel now!!
hopefully get this all sorted by tomorrow lunch time.
the good news is paul bought the MR2 and i am back down to 2 cars again

the pain in the arse is i told the guys they were a 9" rim.
but they still ordered a set of 215/45/17's
i had one standing on the rim and three pushing up trying to get the tyre on.
when i rang them while sorting out a jack, they said the rims are too wide for the car!!
wtf has that got to do with it.
they said the tyres should be 255/40/17's ( well the 255 bit anyway ) but still put them on!!
i have a pair of 225's to put on the back tomorrow but they said they will order another 2 so they are all 225's.
to add insult to injury,
they find only 4 nuts on the left hub!! why? coz the 5th one has been drilled in the middle and now looks like a decaying tooth!! :x :x
so i had to go to SCA and luckily they had some open ended nuts to fit.
so i still have to find a wheel bolt and these poxy tyres.
added to the stress of trying to tow the MR2 to aylsham to find i had forgotten to put the new tyres for it in the car and then find absolutly no way to hook the tow bar to the rover!!! :x :x
so i still had to drive the thing 15 miles to pauls.
i am starting to get rather fecked off

This is by no means as a comparison but when I first picked up my Escort I drove it out, parked in a McDs for a quick grub stop and someone had pulled off the Si badges off it !!!! Was furious.
Really feel for you mate.
On the positive you have a car that turns heads and gets noticed !!!!!
Hope you get the tyres sorted....it could have been a lot worse !!
