Not knocking you but I've never really liked the Z31.......even some of the mad arse early Japanese tuner cars never hit the spot either. The Z32 was so much nicer looking, in my opinion, it had the looks, chassis and power. I've only worked on a few and I'm no mechanic as many people will attest, but I've always found the Z32 a pain in the arse to work on, and being tight, this has put me off in recent times. A money no object LS2 swap would be just about spot on for me but it's all pipe dreams and pub talk right now. I got offered a nice short wheel base slick top twin turbo a few years ago, just before I bought the first Skyline, and in many ways I wish I'd bought that instead. Oh well...

Back to your rhetorical question about a Zed winning TA.........anything can win TA if you have the desire, the support and the money. I still reckon space framing the bugger and really working on power to weight would do wonders but TA won't allow that unless you run in the prototype class and then you're up against the likes of Gallagher and his Focus. I forgot that we have another top Zed on the forum; max1's 500+hp blue one. I'm not sure if he's featured this on here yet, but I know it's one of his favourite cars and when you consider he has an 8 second GTR and at least one other R32 and then the big Dodge, that's some accolade.
