YES! And the guy was very reluctant to authorise recovery. Michael H had a flat refusal at Knockhill TA iirc.
Yeah same here, he was being arsey at the time saying that he won't recover anything that's broken down from a competing point of view, i had to argue with the bloke saying that it brokedown at the gate

If you need something shooting, or a payload to low earth orbit. Just ask.

aye thats what i thought might happen, im in the RAC myself but never had to use them yet, shouldent be a prob with mine as it is cause i still have full interior etc so pretty much looks standard etc, was thinking about roll cage for hillclimbs/sprints next year though and just wondered where i would stand with my RAC membership if i stripped it and caged it etc
I miss my scooby :(

We've been recovered twice and had roadside assistance once and never had a problem. We blew the turbo at the nurburgring and after limping the car back to the ferry I phoned the RAC from France and they were waiting at Dover for us. The guy that turned up new we had been to the ring but gave us no hassle. The second was just after leaving silverstone and when we phoned up they already knew about the event at silverstone and santa pod that day and again no problem.

It's weird because our car is stripped and has a cage and quick release front bumper and never had a problem.............
