VLC is great and will play practically anything.

Regarding the filesize, I had it down to 2 meg, but it was 320x240 and you had to be about 2" from the screen to see anything. I could have uploaded that to YouTube, but for it to be bigger, I couldn't do anything else with it.

I've just tested my connection and download speed was 19718kbps for round figures. It's meant to be 20Mb (20000kbps) but you have to allow space within that 20Mb for upload bandwidth (738kbps), so it's about right :D
