It certainly is, they leak like a sieve. But hey they are 40 years old. The engines are a total loss oil system too which use a litre of oil an hour.

Nice one, walked into that one I supose! The belly is a lot smaller than when I forst got there. the food is bloody aweful out there.

I spent 3 months out there in the rabbit warren which is Mount Pleasant!

Have you managed to get on that trip to the island south of Falklands where all the sea lions are?

How do Ian? nah, never managed to get to Sea Lion Island, went to Volunteer point however. That`s where the picture was taken.

I can`t believe I`ve worked on every one of those Jets. The Harriers were and always will be my favourites. Brings back memories of doing engine runs down the Tie down pan at Cottesmore. Full power with nozzles down and the aircraft trying to take off.
