True, but I'm sure there's regulations which stipulate that the 'back' of kerbs should not create a launch pad should someone get things wrong- especially with there being such a small amount of run-off on the outside (even worse when running in the reverse direction).
Granted it's probably there to prevent corner-cutting, which is fair enough as you'll have braked and be travelling slowly as you make the turn. But in the event of a mechanical failure or being spun over that direction by some movement in a pack of cars, you're likely to be at high speed across the grass towards it.
