Nice to hear from you Bryan

Sorry to hear about the type 2 (same here by the way but in 09!) My most recent medical shows that I am beating it though, and actually show the blood sugar level of someone without the disease :D At least the medical retirement worked out for you buddy.

Whereabouts in California did you end up? Tan and I have been there a few times now, and it is our favourite place in the World by a mile. Like you say, beautiful climate, vistas and people :)

Nice to see your passion for the car hasn't diminished.

All the best

Gareth, I almost forgot we were Facebook buddies mate! Haha! Like I said, the women aren't bad out here! ;)

The carbon combination seemed unique enough to go for. I haven't seen ANY Pikes Peak White (PPW) Nismos on the forums with he same setup. I'm pleased how it turned out, but still haven't decided whether or not to get rid of the cheesy headlight film.

Yes, you can buy the Nismo edition over here, but it comes in the 3.5 litre VQ35HR (Nismo 350Z) motor versus the Japanese 3.8 litre VQ38HR (Nismo 380RS). Damn Americans always messing things up!

How's the rexy?

Ben, thanks buddy! Next on the list is definitley power. 3.8 stroker kit, TT setup, etc. That's a way down the road... baby steps. The future is bright for this one.
What about you buddy? I haven't seen any updates or projects from you. Anything in the making?

Stuart, that's great that you are controlling it! It's amazing what diet and exercise can do for someones health! I'm not on insulin yet, just oral meds, Metformin, etc.
I'm actually just an hour north of LA. You should let me know the next time you are in town!
Still running the BMW?

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Took the Z on a nightly drive tonight after getting it back from the shop. I got about a mile away from my house and immediately turned back around. I couldn't see anything!! I wouldn't have seen a lorry coming until my car was under it! Conclusion, tinted headlights are a good safety net for population control. If you hate your boss, get him/her tinted headlights for Christmas, problem solved.

Anyway, I took them off when I got back to the house and I have to say that it looks proper now. I'll post pictures tomorrow when I have daylight on my side.

Oh, I also installed the Brides ;)
