Sunglasses came yesterday and the keyfob came today. Just need to get hold of a couple of 4 or 8Gb microSD cards.
Observations: The Sunglasses are a bit tight behind the ears but i can sort that no problem with a hairdryer and some patience although when i'm out on the mountain bike in the woods i'm pretty sure they won't be falling off my head.
Video quality on both glasses and fob is nothing short of superb and i think perhaps the glasses are ever so slightly better but very close between the two.
I am genuinely gobsmacked though at the quality from such small and discreet devices. IMHO they are as good as some of these in-car sport cams you can buy for considerably more money.
Audio quality on the glasses is OK but there seems to be a permanent whirring sound in the background of the audio. Maybe that's something i can sort out and it may not be quite so audible when out and about with ambient noises masking the whirr. As for the keyfob audio quality has turned out superb. Lovely clarity and a nice tone.
All in all i'm very pleased with these purchases and they were so cheap so i'm going to be ordering some more.
I'm going to be trying them out in the car soon but if initial tests are anything to go by i think these will make cracking in-car cams and the fob should be placeable just about anywhere. The only mod both devices will need is a bit of microphone foam placing over the mic hole to cut down on wind noise and overly loud noises distorting audio. I think the glasses should just about fit with a helmet on for trackdays. It's always good to the the drivers perspective.
As for me i'm really looking forward to trying them out on the beaches in Spain sometime. That should be interesting
