Yeah the one shown in the film sounds as if it is bridge ported or half bridge...hence the idling noise....amazing !!!!

This will be one of the cars used in the film for long shots etc.

In the 2nd film they only built one of each of the cars with the full engine spec, they got away with the others by taking a picture of the enginebay and putting it under the bonnet vents !!! (honest !!)

One of the few VeilSide cars that doesn't make me want to cut my own eyes out using my toenails

I think the car is stunning, regardless of the engine that propels it. When these ( I'm not sure what sort of spec) were changing hands I seem to remember they were 20k+ :o Hand on heart, I wouldn't pay that for a blinged up Rex, no matter what the heritage, but then I haven't got 20k so my opinion is irrelevant.
If I did have the prequisite funds I would probably get another few quid together and get someone like Mr Juniper or the other Mr Hayward to add some giggles.

Agreed with the black wheels comment. If you sold the hideously expensive VS rims you could get a great set of Volks and some engine work at the same time.

Look forward to seeing it, whatever the wheels and whatever the engine. That Rex is gorgeous :D
