Hi Tommy,

Just seen these pics you posted ages ago. The STi fair rolls eh?!

I've not modified the her further, yet, except to fit my 17" PFF replicas, but I do have a 22mm adj rear bar in the workshop waiting to go on.

Definitely going to get a set of coilovers this winter though. The standard suspension is just too soft for track work and tired after 120k miles!!

Midrange/top-end balance is interesting too. My old WRX (260ps model) had much less midrange and the top-end felt quite exciting as a result. The STi's strong midrange makes the top-end feel undramatic (or maybe I'm just so used to scoobs now!), so it's going to get the Andy ESL treatment as soon as he's worked out the mappable ecu for the '98 model.

It certainly does roll - not unlike a boat :D

The car will be fantastic if you get it mapped although, remembering the turbo is also 120K miles old, maybe that is partly to do with the 'reduced' zing at the top end?
