Team Extreme's GTR build

Post by Stuart »

For those that saw the Team Extreme cars yesterday, either at the Charity Race Weekend or in this thread . I thought you may be especially interested in one of the most exciting cars being developed for 2013's drag racing.

Not subtle is it? :D

A tube chassis carbon bodied R35 GTR with a pretty monstrous engine! Engine power has been quoted as between 1700 and 2500bhp :willy_nilly: and needless to say it will cause a right stir amongst the top cars of its class next year when it comes out.

If you're interested in updates about the car, the team and their plans please head over to their fb page here or better still do that and get your backside to one of the drag racing circuits next year and cheer them all on. I know I'll be making a road trip to support them as much as I can

2500 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .... aren't they worried that it may have a similar danger to the planet as the hadron collider?

That looks mental and the workshop looks pretty tasty as well. I think a BP trip to the Pod to support team extreme at an event next year is a great idea after there support yesterday.

Well, I am 100% going and I expect that there will be a few others interested too (Trev, Russ etc maybe many more). The test and tune days tend to be on a Friday before a race meet, and obviously the race meets themselves are always of a weekend.

Loads of time yet, but we can organise when it suits the team and when it suit the supporters nearer the time

As you say, following their support for BP yesterday I think it's the least we can do, and knowing how much Trev and I enjoyed our day with them last time, I would highly recommend it :D

I hope it's facing the right way when it launches or the clocks will need turning back!
