A couple of vids from Tuesday night

Post by Danny@APT »

I bought one of those cheap Ebay cams which Daniel highlighted in his project thread and decided the track night would be an ideal test. So after some hurried last minute work screwing the mounting down into the dash of the APT Sh*troen, we were off. :D

First vid- completely cocked-up by aiming the camera too high, so just the one highlight to show (Gary avoiding another BP member sliding off while dealing with a slide of his own... I think he enjoyed it)-

Vid 2- Christian having a short go before coming-in for Gary to check the hastily cobbled together oil breather (full!:smilielol5:)

I have heard the Dr Hayward laugh like that for years now and it's normally at someone else spinning :D

Shame I never caught you guys on track; the car looked pretty good and the ideal cheap track car. I'm sure the issues will be sorted quickly enough and then it will like a front wheel drive deathmatch

Good clip Dan ;)

They're great little camera's (I shall copyright them as "Dan Cam's" ;)), image quality is pretty good too.
Certainly looked like you were having fun in the Citroen, what model is it? (It sounded rude enough:))

It's a VTS, which was someone else's track toy until they stuck it on Ebay. Gary saw it one night while under the influence and decided it looked alright, despite the chavvy mods (unbelieveably it passed the noise test @99db)!

It really was a laugh though- none of us care if it makes it home, and parts cost peanuts to buy. It's nice to go out and rag a car without worrying about the consequences.

Although it wouldn't be a Hayward track toy without an oil surge issue of some kind... :smilielol5:
