Favourite Group B rally car

Tough one this, they were all fantastic cars.

But the one i always had a soft spot for and had a poster on my wall was the 6R4 in Will Gollop Rallycross colours. V6 twin turbo.

Him, Matin Schanke and Matti alamakke(sorry about the spelling) were part of the reason i became hooked on cars......

i agree with you mate they were a mental car, my cousin has a replica kit car one he uses for track days
with a rover vitesse turbo engine thing goes like stink.

the original body for the RS200 was made by robin reliant

do have a soft spot for the 6R4 they are nice cars

I have been lucky enough to be taken out in a 6R4 (dads mate used to have one) never been in a N/A car that goes and sticks to the road like that thing

It's a chance to see some of the Group B beauties and works rally cars in action

I missed it last year but went the year before with GT4Dave,it was awesome
The weather was poo as usual at Castle Combe,rained most of the day,but it was great to see them all,some I had never seen 'in the flesh'

That will be thne slightly sideways club then with all those group b cars my dads mate has a full works Renualt 5 GT turbo 2 which is being rebuilt at the moment then he will be taking part in that.

see that RS200 loads of times its a regular on the 0-60 sprint at ford fair his time last year was a 2.9 to 60
