Good watch even if not a cossie lover, just mental the speeds they where doing around there. Needs to be opened up again and get proper touring cars like the V8 supercars on there.

Superb find a proper race - that was really exciting!
It was nice to see a real gear change !!

Mike smith - looks like he drives as badily as he flies helicopters - nudged my arse !! - he hit the car in front,

That race is quite sureal, It's a shame the PC crowd have stopped such races. Also, love the little kick as those 500+ sierra's exit a bend

My ex's is brother had an Andy Rouse 500 Cosworth back
in the 90's - it was bloody lovely and bloody quick.
Dum spiro, spero

I have a DVD about the Sierra and interview Tim Harvey and get him to drive his old car from the 89 season. I was amazed how much love that he has for the car and you can see he miss's racing the thing.

He mentioned the super prix on it, and how one year they set up a speed trap for the F3000 and they where hitting 163mph down the main straight. Then someone looked at it in the Touring car race and they where hitting 175mph :-D
Thanks Nash
