Still new to this forum so you might already have seen this. Apologies if you have, but it's deffo worth a look. 12 mins of a guy ripping it around the circuit in a Porsche 911. You have to see it to believe it!

Nurburgring nutter!!
Nurburgring nutter!!
Without lights it's just radio...
I think that is the old Stefan Roser video, but as I've never been able to buy 'Fazination' from RUF, I cannot be sure.
His commitment to those corners is matched by his car control. Anyone who has travelled those 12.9 miles at speed, will know just how big a risk he was taking. The margin for error is minimal in several areas and he just attacked it with such aggression. I wonder how many laps he needed to get that good? It's one thing being a good driver, it's quite another to do an approximate 7'30" BTG in an 1980's Porsche with most of it on opposite lock.
A great video and if it is a repost..........thanks. They are the sorts of reposts we need :thumb:

Like you say Stu..
You have to have been around that circuit at pace to really appreciate just how hard he is driving..
Its astonishing pace to watch now and even more mindblowing to think he's in an 80s RUF with no crashhelmet etc.
Respect is due..
Edit..
I was lucky enough to see Walter Rohrl testing in the New GT3 RS at the ring back in August.. Seeing this guy drive is something else!!!

That is apsolutely awesome!! What a video..
As said, his contol is just amazing!! How much would you give to go out with him in the car!!
I definately want to go this year, more than likely in July as it looks like such an experience. In process of getting car ready for it and learning how it behaves when driven hard!

The green GT is amazing - the video great - but i'm watching that i'm wondering if he is actually in control - the way he has to correct so often - it's as though he's driving on the razor's edge, I'm amazed he didn't stack it. More luck than anything.
