Supra TT v GTO vr4 v R32 GTR v RX7 v others

Post by jonny_boy »

Apologies if it has already been posted before;

Found this on the MKIV Supra forums and thought it was quite an interesting vid. All the cars were standard, of course this is just a track race (if you can call it a race).

*cough* ahem, the R32 GTR was clearly blocked or running low boost......

Ok, he got whooped! How does a VR4 model on the GTO different from the normal ones? Excuse my ignorance, but I like to learn :)

There was a GTO TT MR model (slightly less power) Click Here

the R32 didn't do too bad I thought considering its position just after the start, Quite impressed with the launch of the GTO and the the lead it got considering they are fairly heavy - guessing the 4WD and 4WS helped ?

I used to think GTO's were big and heavy,,, that made them comparatively slow :lol: :lol: :lol:

Very good vid - i'm surprised at the legacy - bit of a street sleeper.

two more laps and the skyline would have been up there :)
