Well after the saga of the gearbox collapsing, Eddy took the car in and changed the gearbox + clutch line, keeping me informed all along. 
and he also sorted out my speedo issue, so now i dont have to look into spending more money on gauges and drive cables 
as always, thoroughly recommended
