After a couple of 'not sure what the problem could be' statements i took the scoob to clive for a look.

A quick smoke test revealed missing bolts & gasket around the idle control valve, so thats where the boost has been going!

Anyone suffering boost issues I'd recommend having this checked for the sake of approx
'51 Chevy rat rod pickup - zz4 350ci v8, TH350 box, Jag IRS LSD rear, camaro clip, boxed rails........really should upgrade the brakes
