Absolutely Shocks - absolutely shocking

OK, so I've been holding fire before officially accusing them of crap service, but I've just returned home from Sweden and I'm not happy.

22nd July. Talk to Jules at TCS about protech and Derek at Absolutely Shocks about Gaz. Derek does a good job, and I order a full set of Gaz Gold coilovers there and then. Quoted '1-2 weeks delivery'
2nd August. Call and am told 'Oh, they're building all the TVR stuff this Thur/Fri (3rd/4th)
3rd August. Offered full secondhand Ohlins setup for same money. Chew hard on knuckles and regretfully refuse.
7th August. Call and am told 'Oh, that's odd - we're moving site, but I'll pop in the factory later and find out where they are.
11th August. Phone. Leave message "Please let me know what's happening as you said you would earlier this week.
13th August. Phone. Leave message saying 'Please call me'.
14th August. Email, phone several times, leave several messages saying 'get in touch within 48 hours please'
17th August. Back from Sweden and no suspension here. No messages, no email response, nothing.

So, I'm well pissed off, and very close to phoning Mr Visa and saying 'Please can you take the money back, as I've been ripped off'.'

COmments, thoughts, anyone?

Get your cash back and spread the word of this vile standard of service. Then get a posse together and we can all go down to Essex and get some old fashioned justice :D

Absolutely,

Poor customer service, non existant salesmanship, and an attitude that smacks of "I dont care if you're my customer or not, just give me money and feck off out my shop" is what sadly seems to be the norm now with alot of retailers !!!

I think we should burn the witches !!!!

we have a contact with Mark at GAZ if your stuck and thats the kit your after, give me a bell 0191-4103770 and we could chase availability on Monday for you??


or look into other options dependant on fitment??

That's much appreciated - but I'm off on hols for a week tomorrow, so I'll need to chase when I return. Next time you talk to Mark though, if it's over the next week, you could ask him to poke his distributor (who already has my money) to get the kit to me next week.
