If I'd seen anything decent I'd have bought it.

Some nicely described ex-police V70s about. I know where there's a cheap, diesel, 940 estate if that's any good?

I've seen some Toyota Hilux Surfs for just a bit more money on eBay. 2.5L-3.0L turbo Diesel engines, Hi/Lo auto boxes, adjustable suspension and nice looking with meaty tyres. Should easily tow a trailered car. I'd love one!!
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

How about a Nissan Terrano or even a Stagea RS Four. You can with a Nissan lol.

Avoid the 2.4's at all costs. Gutless and prone to failing under hard use. The 3 litres are great. I've had a few now and the 3.0 diesels are truly decent cars, well capable of towing and being fully loaded with wheels/tools etc. I also had a 3.0 petrol with a straight through system and recaro's. Now that was fun!
