Thanks Gerry,

I was hoping for an OEM type so i can just plug in. With these universal ones you need to know on the OEM sensor which wires are which and then match the wires on the unversal one. They look pretty cheap though and at least they are brand new.

I have 4 wires, Blue, White and 2 x Black.

If there is a 2nd hand OEM one about that would be a nice straightforward quick fix.

They come with instruction, I think. 2 wires are the same colour for the heater, then it's just sensor and ground to sort. Not difficult for a man of your kaliber.

Run in open loop.

Did that for about 6 months - it is fine if the MAF table is fine.

Stupid place for a lambda sensor anyway.

I'll have a look at running open loop only......in the meantime.......the hunt for the O2 sensor is still on.

Pretty easy to do Francis.

Just:
- disable a couple of CEL's
- reduce OL/CL crossover points down to 500rpm or so and the delays are zeroed
- make sure the MAF table is right.

10 min job in the map.

I had a look at this last night, setting CL/OP delays to 0 and some other settings to make sure it ticks over in OP etc...

I think the CEL's linked to the O2 sensor P0030/P0031/P0032 will have to go and the MAF table is nicely spot on so hopefully then it's just running off OP fuel map all the time.

Thanks for the confirm Duncan. :thumb:

Mapped for open loop now, running well too. That will do nicely for the moment till a sensor turns up.

Cheers all :thumb:
