I have a couple of migs. one set up for mild, one for stainless. You can Mig aluminium, but i have never tried it. I have a couple of local guys i use for Tig work when needed. One just has a DC unit for stainless sheet metal work, the other has both AC and DC
Duncan, i would have thought there would be an engineering company over your way who could do it. An AC Tig is normally required for aluminium welding.

There's a good ali welder near me but as Eddy says, there must be one nearer to you.

In your own words 'Google id your friend'
