Lightweght battery

Post by Jamie »

Hi,

I am looking for a lightweight battery like e.g. Braille. Car is a STi MY04 with 2l engine, no lightweight pulleys yet.

But I also drive in winter, so I will need a battery with enough power to start the car at cold temperatures.

Thanks
...and sorry for my english, i am from austria, thank you.

Lightweight and small:

Had one of these on my car for nearly 3 years and had no problem with it. Trickle discharge from alarm systems etc will flatten it in a few days but otherwise it stays charged for months. Cold conditions doesn't bother it either.

Thanks for this brochure.

Which one have you bought from the list?
Do the standard connectors fit to the odyssey terminals?

PC680

The batteries come with M6 threaded terminals. They also sell the posts that attach to the terminals. I cut the posts off an old battery, drilled and counterbored the posts to take an M6 cap head screw (but I'm a cheapskate :))

Another nice thing about these, the terminals don't corrode like a wet battery.

Arron, edit your phone number out of your post. It's not a good idea on a public forum :)

You can use the private messaging system by clicking on the PM box below a users post, to contact them. You can access your own PM boxes at the top of the page.
