Thanks Jason!
But without seeming to stupid  my car is relativley standard compared to a lot of them round here, I have been advised that the 440`s will be more than man enough?
I am well happy with the car in general, its just that its leaning out right at the top end, ie; 5th gear 6500rpm. Andy widebanded it for me today, and the result was most likely the injectors maxing out!
I had it dyno`ed the other week at clive atthowes, and was well chuffed with the results!
263bhp, but a lovely hefty 290ftlb tourqe from a td o4 car with a front cat still in place!

It may be that the fuel pump is running out of puff.

Russell. You'll only need a fitting kit if the new injectors are phase 2, i.e. MY99/00

Earlier than that will fit straight in, you just need to check the 'O' rings are in good condition.

The STi versions 3 & 4 came with 440s as std. Not sure about the v1 & 2.

Will keep an eye out for you. Usual price is ~

These, or some like them, are what you need and will go straight into your rails. OE yellow top 440s

Those 380cc injectors should be good for c.300bhp at the flywheel so i agree with Duncan about installing a better fuel pump, and i would probably fit a power valve / adjustable pressure regulator as well.

If you fit 440's i would definately fit a better pump and fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks folks!
I have got a walbro fuel pump fitted, as this leaning out at the top end has been a problem since day one!
I have tried many things to sort it :x . Its under Andys (esl) advise that i fit the bigger injectors next?
And yet another big thanks to gerry I will follow your link. :-D
