Clutch aligning tool

Any one get one for an EVO, could do with one for a couple of days?
Ford shaft is the same too so i hear.

Broom handle with tape around it mate.
Anything other than a genuine dummy gearbox shaft i have found to be useless.

if the two plates are seperate and not joined so you need to aligning all the splines as well as the central of the plate then you must get a proper dummy shaft mate if not you will struggle!

Iam pretty sure that some kits come with a plastic dummy shaft in the box some dont as mine hasnt iam going to be struggling if i cant find one to borrow.......

lee correct me if i am wrong but could you not measure the spigiot bearing and then the clutch centre and just machine
up a dummy shaft from a piece of round bar or nylon or do you have to align two splined plates :?:

In all honestry iam not 100% sure as i dont have the clutch in my possension yet but iam assuming both plates are splined.

Once the 13 comes out the garage the evo will be taking its place that transfer box is going to be heavy..
