Dry Ice

Post by Stuart »

I need or, rather I would like, some dry ice to make the removal of the sound proofing from the GTR's so much easier. I have done a fair amount of research and dry ice seems to be the way to go. I have found a supplier but their minimum order is 10kgs. I won't need anymore than about 5 kgs tops, so is there anyone who wants to go halves? :D

Dry Ice is pretty unpleasant stuff to handle. Have you seen or considered this stuff? Loctite Freeze & Release:

http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/pr ... ?prod=LTFR

Or, what about a bottle of CO2? more controllable with a valve and tube, less waste and more time to do the job as it won't just vapourise.

Also, don't use it in a confined space, make sure there's plenty of ventilation.

Grandmother sucking eggs? Sorry! :D
