someone to do an engine swap

the guy that was supposed to be doing my engine swap has let me down due to illness
so basically i need someone to do an engine swap over on my pulsar gtir, i know its not a 5 min job and willing to pay a fair price, i have a replacement engine here waiting, i considered having a bash at it myself but 1 : im to busy and 2 : sod that
im in colchester so if you know anyone local that could take it on then let me know :thumb:

engines complete with plenum/ injectors/ starter motor etc.. but needs a clutch release bearing changed and oilpump changed over
problem is gary i cant get the car to you, its not even taxed and mot'd yet, and also smoking badly (ringlands i belive) cheers anyway, when its up and running i will be giving you a call for some teins though

thats a bigger job still mate
it needs head taken off and sump and belts
id say it will add another

well im not 100% sure it does as the side casing has not been split open, im going on what the guy said that i got the engine from , he bought a smashed up car with a forged engine but said he needed to change the oil pump as he broke the other one ! . people have told me that you dont need to take the head of as its just seven screws/bolts that holds it in , to be honest i know very little about the sr20 engine (obviously)

the oil pump is bolted on front of engine but also theres 2 bolts that go down through head
its not normal to do oil pumpp with head on

to take the oil pump off do you need to take the casing apart on the side where the pulleys are , i dont think even the rocker cover has even been off.

think i got someone sorted out to do the job now , cheers gary for help , i realise oilpump is still there now i know what it is :oops:

Yes,
GBH is an ideal choice as they are in the area and Grimsey's engine seems to fitted ok.
