Hi,

I've got a Nissan Pulsar GTIR and i am now looking to get a spare engine rebuilt and then swap them over so that i can keep mine on the road while the new one is built up.
I have already got, 87mm Pistons, Rods, Head Gasket, new pumps (oil and water), head bolts and a bottom end but im just asking for a guideline price/offer to have the bottom end built up from scratch, as well as being chemically cleaned, crank balanced and polished and cylinders bored out to take the 87mm pistons, and a ACL Race Bearing Set fitted, or failing that new OE bearings if they will be up to the task.

If i could source a spare head would you also be able to have the following done to it;
Surfaced, Ported and Polished, Gas Flowed Cylinder Head, 3-Angle Valve Cut and Bronze Valve Guides along with 272deg cams with new springs, pulleys and timing chain plus a full engine balance. I can always order in the cams, pulleys and OE parts like bearings, spring and timing chain if that helps?

I appreciate that the best guys are always busy with work, but if anyone could let me know roughly what sort of price id be looking at for the work to be done then i can start playing around with figures etc.

I'd speak to Gary @ APT - he's done quite a few serious SR's
