I didn’t think you would do it Russ, turn your back on the yellow wobble bus.
Most items have been covered already the only real problem is that a four needs a good tweaking to be as good as the V.

1. The IV only has normal callipers not the 4&2 pot Brembo’s, if you swap to them you will need different wheels.

2. If it still has the IV engine in it you could suffer from the dreaded crank walk (the cause of the stupidly low price of IV’s)

3. If you ever go down the RS diff route it’s very hard to find as the drive shafts are different lenghts.

Most bits are interchangeable between all the models
I have a VI.5 engine and interior, VIII head, VI cams, VII diff etc…..

I am in a worse place than you Russ I really have no idea what iam doing or what I want, I have a perfectly good car ready to go but don’t have the balls to use it.
I am hunting down something but I am not really sure what.
I have bid on endless clio’s but been to tight or bottled it and missed out.
I missed out on Tommies 328 the other week.
You fancy a joint owned?

I want something that I can sprint in a competitive class, take to the ring twice this year not be a money pit and depending on price be fully modded or cheap enough to mess around with

I bid on this the other day, I could have it but it only ticks a couple of boxs

Rob how much is your VIII engine?
Ive been looking at this

RS for the ultimate evo, it has has the propper diff and no extras, RSX has all the good bits + air con electric windows ect so more weight, not may were made either so prices are higher. The GSR is the normal model AYC diff air con electric windows ect.
