15 inch SLICKS or Intermediate track rubber wanted

The trouble is alot of formulae limit the number of sets you can buy at a discounted rate. Usually just enough sets to complete all the rounds leaving you to source sets for testing etc.
If its the cut slick intermediate tread patten your after give Colway a ring. You can buy directly through them.
On a durometer there isn't much difference between their inters and a set of R888's that have been softened slightly :wink:

well only one set!!!

COulds do with some wets aswell as mine are torn on side wall

well i have found some 15 inch slicks but there 205 580 15 not what i run now which is 195 580 15

Is it just a bit wider tyre?

yup - the 580 is the diameter of the tyre.

It is different markings to road tyres where the 40 or 45 etc relates to a proportion of the width.

so a 205 over a 195 or 185 is wider?

205 = 205 mm wide
195 = 195 mm wide

etc

so a 205 - 580 - 15 tyre would be

205 mm wide
580 total diameter
to fit a 15 wheel

Using a diameter cal such as: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

That will tell you the diameter of your current tyres and you can compare diameter against the race tyre and see the effect on your speedo reading/gearing.
