R32 GTR heater hoses

Post by Fast Eddy »

I had a water leak at the back of my GTR engine that must be a heater hose.
Anyone got any to get me up and running again.
Cheers

They are all around 1/2" bore with a light coloured liner iirc.

Oh dear Eddy,

I hope it's not the pipe that I had to sort a couple of weeks ago. (the hard pipe that runs along the back of the engine that cools the turbos) It was a complete arse to get off. i.e up in the air and remove the rear prop and starter motor to get up from the bottom to get the hoses off to enable us to get the hard pipes off.

Not fun at all :(

Had a look,
No not that Nik thank God
It is one of the water pipes that go from that hard pipe to the oil/water heat exchanger. Still an arse to get to though

That's what we thought it was initially. Jason and I spent all day changing it (starter motor off etc) only to find out it was the hard pipe. Hope it's easier for you mate.
