I've got clearance from Clarence..............oh mother!!
I know it needs work, but I've always wanted a Porker and I'll never afford a really decent one...... any one ever had one with any useful pointers?

Not useful - my ex's dad used to buy crashed motors, one of them was an 944 S2 turbo .. had a go in it a few times - all I can say is I think the idea of one is better than the reality of one.

I think it looks ace !!! Go for it, everyone likes a project ;)

I guess you'd need to agree from the outset is this going to be a showcar or a track beast.

Looks good from the pics but I suspect it will have rust, wiring, rust, engine issues and more rust for it to be

I really like these Rob but you do need deep pockets Russ and I shared one and it feels at times that we are still paying the bills, on track it is truly great so well balanced but perhaps lacking in a little power
Suspect area`s Rust around the, well almost anywhere; oil cooler this is a water cooled unit killer area head gasket if this is us then so is the car
It`s a gamble depends what you want to do with it if you take the plunge and it is ok it will reward you with immense pleasure

So, are you going to get it then ? ... what would you do with it ? .. restore or thrash to death?.

Rob! Don`t do it!!!!!! As Harry has already said, Your pockets will need to be very deep- the exact opposite to the sierra. We got to a point with ours (an `85 model) that we reconed that every time we turned the key it was another

Thats the sensible thing to do mate.:(
Although they do have a certain draw (pop up headlights;):D) I would still have a nice late s2 or a 968 if only i could afford it.
