2003 Mazda 6 sportD

Post by russ979 »

Well after nearly five years of ownership its time for me to test the waters with finding old faithful a new home. Anybody who know me will know how much praise i have for this car, Because i can truely say that it has never ever missed a beat from the day i bought it! In five years its never even needed so much as a replacement bulb! The nearest it came to a problem was about a year ago it started to get quite smokey, So i went to mazda and bought/fitted a new egr valve (

If only I had some money lying around I'd snap that up. :(
At that price, it wont be around for long.

reference your bubbly archs, a friend of mine has a 6 and he popped into mazda about some spares, got talking to the sprayer there and he was doing arches under the body warrenty, pritty sure it was around the same year as yours.

like some manufacturers offer a 10yr paint and body corrosion warrenty. dont think mazda advertise it as such.

anyway looks nice all the best.

Yes there was an un-official recall! But that has ended, I was going to get round to having them done but frankly dont have a lot of time for our main dealer as Harry on here can vouch after taking his 3.5 year old mazda in for a check up he was then fleeced for

Well ive spent most of today cleaning her up and out! I think she`s come up pretty well?

Please note that the tow bar will be comming off to go on the new one,So i will repair the bumper and fix the crack where she was violated by the ball hitch from my trailer before she go`s.

The interior i am well pleased with. I think the fact that she`s had waterproof seat covers over the front seats from the day i got her has very much saved the wear on the drivers seat.
Image
The marks showing on the seats are just the drying out damp after giving them a valet.:)
