I have the above item for sale.

It will mate to almost any PDA/SmartPhone/Mobile Phone via Bluetooth connection. It is just less than a year old and is in current use, so full working order. It comes with a mains charger and in-car charger and is a cinch to use. I use a normal in-car mobile phone holder with heavy duty velcro stickies to mount it flat on the Dashboard so it has full view through the windscreen and stops it from flying across from one side of the car to the other when cornering, taking off or hard braking. It's plugged in to the 12volt cig lighter socket in the car most of the time so it always has a good charge should i need to use it out of the car, and it has a 10min auto-off function so it will save the battery if you forget to turn it off. It can be used continuosly off charge for 11-12hrs and has a standby of about 7-10 days.

32 channels make it very sensitive so regardless of the weather it normally picks up at least 3-4 satellites in built-up areas which is more than enough to get a good fix, and 5-8 satellites depending on the weather most of the time i.e. motorways, A/B roads, and circuits :D It's so sensitive it even works indoors and in light aircraft up 18km altitude. I have used it in scotland on highland moors for trek tracking and in Fiji when out diving to mark dive spots but most of the time it's in the car providing TomTom Navigation and working with my performance lap timing software, and has 1Hz update time.

Reason for Sale: Just had an upgrade.

Open to sensible offers + postage.

What is the make and model?
Do you have any specs on the cold/warn/hot startup times?
What have you found the time to establish position on start?

I may be interested as the charger on my wired gps receiver is falling to pieces.
