Ferodo DS2500 pads for AP 6pots

These pads came with the AP calipers and I'm not keen on the 'feel' they're fine on the road but I want immediate bite for sprints.
People rave about this pad material but not me.
Plenty of meat on them, approx 12mm+ but not sure without removing a wheel, which I'm too lazy to do atm.
